This summer we were thrilled to be part of Music for the Senses guitar trail, as part of the celebrations the People’s History Museum is running a Music for the Senses Exhibition and Art Fair from 6-7 Sep.

This special exhibition is your chance to see all the artist decorated guitars, along with those donated by Oasis, Elbow, Doves, Mani from the Stone Roses, New Order, Busted and many more, displayed together one last time.

Discover the museum’s magnificent Grade II listed Engine Hall where you’ll also find the Music for the Senses Art Fair showcasing exclusive arts, crafts and unique gifts from some of our guitar artists and makers. The Telling presents VISION on Sun 21 Sep, 7:30pm at Hallé St Peter’s . A concertplay where music and theatre collide, by award-winning writer Clare Norburn with BAFTA-nominated director Nicholas Renton.

The imagined testimony of the extraordinary medieval Abbess Hildegard von Bingen, as she revisits visceral visionary encounters alongside her haunting and distinctive chant performed by singers Gwendolen Martin & Clemmie Franks, and Jean Kelly on medieval harp. See here.
