  ACCLAIMED NEW MUSICAL  THE DRIFTERS GIRL ANNOUNCES FIRST UK TOUR DATES     Hit songs include  Stand By Me ,  Saturday Night at the Movies , Under The Boardwalk, Save The Last Dance For Me and  Kissin' in the Back Row of the Movies   Michael Harrison  and  David Ian  are delighted to announce the first 2023 / '24 tour dates for  The Drifters Girl ,  the new musical which tells the remarkable story of one of the world's greatest vocal groups and the woman who made them.   Having thrilled audiences at the Garrick Theatre in London's West End since November 2021 (where it played following a triumphant run at Newcastle's Theatre Royal earlier that autumn), the tour will be heading to the  Opera House, Manchester,  on  Tuesday 10 th  October 2023.   The musical, which has played to packed houses and nightly standing ovations, will also visit:  Mayflower Theatre,   Southampton;   Theatre Royal,   Norwich ;  Lyceum Theatre,   Sheffield ;  Alhambra Theatre ,  Bradford ;  M

Our first Coliseum production of the season,  Road , opened earlier this month to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. There's just a few days left to catch our 'brutally beautiful' production of Jim Cartwright's multi award winning 1986 debut before the run ends on Saturday 1 October.  Throughout the coming weeks the theatre will be bustling both on and off stage with three visiting shows throughout October, plus we're gearing up to start rehearsals for this year's pantomime,  Robin Hood . We won the UK Theatre Pantomime Association Award for Best Costume Designs last year and we can't wait to see what pantomime designer Celia has up her sleeves for the residents of Sherwood Forest.   Speaking of awards, it was recently announced that our September 2021 production of  Love N Stuff  has been shortlisted amongst the nominees for Best Stage Production at the Asian Media Awards.
