Ore Oduba stars in Young Frankenstein |
10 October - 30 November Strictly Come Dancing winner and BBC presenter Ore Oduba will star as Freddie Frankenstein in our production of Young Frankenstein, opening at Hope Mill next month.
The stage version of the super-silly 1974 Mel Brooks film, Young Frankenstein tells the story of Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronk-en-steen”), grandson of the infamous Victor, who inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania.
With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced “Eye-gore”), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick brings to life a creature to rival that of his grandfather’s. Naturally, the monster escapes and all hell breaks loose on the streets of Ancoatsvania.
Young Frankenstein features hits including The Transylvania Mania, He Vas My Boyfriend and Puttin’ on the Ritz and will have you bopping in the aisles all autumn long!
