Audiences can't get enough of comedy, Glorious! |
Until 30 March
Opening to rave reviews, our hilarious production of the Olivier Award nominated comedy Glorious! his the feel-good spring comedy we've been waiting all winter for.
The 'totally superb Wendi Peters' (northwestend) plays Florence Foster Jenkins, a 1940s American socialite who was known for her flamboyant costumes, enigmatic performances and decidedly off-key voice.
Glorious! follows Florence’s journey as she prepares for her concerts, builds an unlikely friendship with her accompanist and pursues her passion despite all odds. Ted Lasso favourite Charlie Hiscock, plays her bewildered accompanist Cosme McMoon. Initially sceptical of her ‘talents,’ he is gradually won over by her indomitable spirit and a true friendship is formed.
Glorious! 'brings passion, personality and the antithesis of AI to Hope Mill Theatre' (ilovemanchester) and is one of the funniest shows you'll see all year.

9 - 19 April
Nothing sparks joy like a Dolly Parton song, so a whole musical filled with Dolly's hits is one of the finest ways to spend an evening.
Pushed to boiling point by their manager, three female co-workers concoct a revenge scheme to get even with their egotistical, bigoted employer.
In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.
Based on the hit 1980s movie and with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
