JASON ISAACS, MARIELLA FROSTRUP AND ELLE OSILI-WOOD COMPLETE STAR PANEL FOR ITV’S OSCARS® LIVE HOSTED BY JONATHAN ROSS

ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player: Your Exclusive UK Destination for the 97th Oscars®

Today, ITV announced further details of Oscars® Live; part of ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player’s exclusive coverage of the prestigious Oscars® ceremony.

Starting this Sunday 2nd March from 10:30pm, renowned film enthusiast and broadcaster Jonathan Ross will return to host ITV’s coverage of the Oscars, and will be joined by a star panel of special celebrity guests and film experts including actor Jason Isaacs, journalist and broadcaster Mariella Frostrup and film expert and presenter Elle Osili-Wood. They’ll be joined live by a film-loving audience for the ultimate watch party ahead of the 97th Oscars.

Before the envelopes are opened, Jonathan Ross will guide viewers through all the Oscar®-nominated films, the actors and actresses up for awards and what to expect from the night ahead, with a series of informative and exciting VTs and discussion with the star panel. They will offer expert analysis on who's likely to win and which movies will scoop most awards.

Weaved into this build-up, Hollywood red carpet royalty Ross King and Angelique Jackson, senior entertainment writer for Variety, will be live from the iconic Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, capturing the glamour and interviewing the A-list arrivals right up to the start of the ceremony at midnight. Then for the next three hours throughout the Oscars broadcast, will keep viewers entertained and informed during commercial breaks, providing expert analysis, behind-the-scenes insights, and all the must-know moments as the awards unfold.

Host Jonathan Ross said: “It’s a pleasure to be back for another year of Oscars magic on ITV! Joined by the brilliant Jason, Mariella and Elle, it's guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening as we champion the very best movie moments and take a front row seat to Hollywood’s biggest night of the year.”

Hollywood actor Jason Isaacs said: “Looking forward to disagreeing with everyone about everything and celebrating the brilliance of all the indie films that are this year’s nominees. Grown up films for grown ups - who saw that coming a few years ago?”

Journalist and broadcaster Mariella Frostrup said:I can’t think of a better way to spend my time on the biggest film night of the year than in the company of the movie encyclopaedia that is Jonathan Ross talking our way through the frocks and shocks, the makers and their movies, the players and their parts as we celebrate live on ITV the Hollywood extravaganza that is the Oscars. It's been a fascinating year for film and the speeches will no doubt be a highlight. I can't wait to dig in!”

TV presenter and film expert Elle Osili-Wood said: "I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Jonathan Ross for Oscars Live on ITV. This has been one of the most talked-about Oscar races in history, so it’s set to be a night full of can’t-miss moments, with plenty of surprises in store. Whether you're tuning in for the films, the fashion, or just the fun of it all, I can't wait to share the magic of Hollywood’s biggest night with movie lovers across the UK!"
