 Nadiya Bychkova and The Overtones Announce Jukebox Idols Tour for 2025

 

Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova and the platinum-selling vocal harmony group The Overtones have announced they will star together in a brand new show for 2025 called Jukebox Idols.

 

From the producers of the West End smash hit Rip It Up 60sJukebox Idols will feature non-stop hits from the jukebox idols of the past and present, brought to life with show-stopping dance routines.

 

Nadiya and The Overtones will be joined throughout the tour by a stellar supporting cast of dancers as they swing, bop, jive and rock ‘n’ roll their way through a kaleidoscopic array of pop music’s greatest moments, featuring classic hits from the likes of Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Bee Gees, The Backstreet Boys, Take That and Bruno Mars, amongst many others.

 

The 31-date nationwide tour will start in High Wycombe on 4th June and end in Aylesbury on 9th July, and includes dates along the way in London (10th June), Glasgow (19th June) and Cardiff  (8th July).

Nadiya Bychkova:

 

Nadiya Bychkova, originally from Ukraine, started dancing at just 4 years old. Nadiya is a two-time World Champion and European Champion in Ballroom and Latin '10' Dance, winning in 2014 and 2015. She is also a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion and has participated in the Bosnian version of "Strictly Come Dancing."

 

Following her success, Nadiya was invited to join the hit UK BBC television series in 2017, partnering with EastEnders star Davood Ghadami. Nadiya and Davood finished in an impressive sixth place, performing an Argentine Tango to "Phantom Of The Opera."

 

Nadiya continued her "Strictly Come Dancing" journey, partnering with Blue’s Lee Ryan and professional footballer David James. In 2021, she enjoyed her most successful partnership to date, reaching the quarter-finals with popular BBC presenter Dan Walker. In 2022, she partnered with Bros’ Matt Goss.

 

In 2021, she co-headlined the first show to reopen the London Palladium after the pandemic, "Here Come The Boys," alongside fellow Strictly professionals Aljaž, Graziano, Nikita, and Pasha. This show toured the UK in the summer of 2022.

 

Nadiya then co-headlined successful UK tours with Kai Widdrington called Once Upon A Time in 2023 and Behind The Magic in 2024.

 

Nadiya has always enjoyed a successful modelling career. She has been the face of Michael Kors and an ambassador for the lingerie range Lisca. Recently, she fronted a national campaign for the British shoe retailer Dune and was the face of the Freemans Summer 2023 campaign.

 

More recently, Nadiya was appointed an ambassador and public figurehead for the Royal Ballet School’s Primary Steps Programme. This program shares the belief that all children should have opportunities to participate in dance and movement. They aim to widen access to and participation in dance or movement, particularly for children in communities with little access to dance, physical education, or play.

 

 

The Overtones:

For the last decade The Overtones have been a household name appearing on countless television & radio shows across the UK and Europe including Dancing On Ice, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, ITV’s Lorraine, and Radio 2 to name a few.

 

The No1 Vocal Harmony Group have racked up multi-platinum record sales, released 6 studio albums and sold out 11 National Tours – firmly establishing them as ‘One of the UK’s most popular and prolific live acts’.
