Clonter Fair & Car Boot!

 

CLONTER FAIR Sun 1 Sept, 10am In Aid of Visyon & Clonter Farm Music Trust Planning for the 2024 Clonter Fair is well underway. If you are doing any serious life laundry this spring, could this be the moment to find your old friends a new home? This well-established event in the Clonter calendar offers a great day out for all the family, from lucky finds amongst the car boots to handmade craft and vintage clothes stalls, with other attractions, from good old-fashioned fair games to live music through the day, from Folk to Opera! Due to the positive feedback from the introduction of a Sports Day, this activity is planned to be repeated, including sack, egg and spoon, wheelbarrow and 3-legged races. The adults can also join in. No reason why the children should have all the fun. We are also delighted to welcome back Dane Sound Radio to help keep you informed on what is going on, and musically entertained throughout the day. The Congleton Bear Town Classic Car Club are also all poised with their turtle wax to proudly present and share their treasured automobiles with you. Visyon is a charity that supports the emotional health of children, young people and their families in Cheshire East. Click here for More Info about Visyon Admission £5 per adult (free for children under 16) Fair Open 10am – 4pm Car Boot 10am – 2pm Artisan Stalls Indoor – Standard pitch £20  / Double pitch – £40 Outdoor – Standard pitch £15 / Double pitch – £30 Tables will be provided for indoor stalls. Outdoor stall holders will need to provide their own tables, chairs and gazebos. Whilst we have a full programme lined up, there are still a few events that need some funding, and there is also the ongoing need for funding generally to continue to provide a nurturing and supportive place for emerging talent to flourish and entertain our audiences for generations to come.
