View this email in your browser Next year will mark Clonter’s 50th Anniversary, and we want to make sure it is the best year yet, but in order to make it to 50 we need your help. Any funding raised will help us be able to celebrate Clonter’s 50th Anniversary and continue to provide a nurturing and supportive place for emerging talent to flourish and entertain our audiences for generations to come. TICKETS NOW ON SALE... Dear Friends & Supporters Priority Booking Period for Friends Now Open We are delighted to now be able to invite Friends of Clonter to book tickets for the events listed below. As you may recall from our previous updates, we have reintroduced the priority booking periods for Patrons and Friends of Clonter (2 weeks priority for Patrons / 1 week priority for Friends). If you are not already a Friend, and you would welcome being able to take advantage of this benefit, it is not too late to become one. Click here for further information. The priority booking period for Friends will end on Fri 22 December. Non-Friends of Clonter may book online or by phone after this date. Opera Prize Sat 3 Feb, 7pm We couldn't be more delighted to announce the first event of Clonter's 50th Anniversary year. Contestants nominated by the UK’s leading conservatoires, compete for a prize before a distinguished panel of judges. The audience collectively act as one judge. The audience’s vote is also revealed. A natural curiosity and insatiable desire to explore have propelled the group in many artistic directions and continue to ensure them not only a place at the very forefront of the international chamber music scene but also a rich and varied musical existence. The Minstrel's Songbook Pete Morton Wed 6 Mar, 3pm Pete Morton, the highly acclaimed troubadour, will be bringing to Clonter his 'Minstrel's Songbook'. From the popular ballads and standards of the 20s - Al Jolson, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller and Hoagy Carmichael - to the well known folk and pop songs of the 60's, Pete will deliver these timeless classics with his inimitable stage presence and powerful euphonious voice.
