Jack Savoretti announces Forest Live dates

 Jack Savoretti is the first artist to announce dates as part of Forest Live 2023, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England.

Since his initial breakthrough with BBC Radio 2 airplay in 2006, a succession of crafted albums has built the Anglo-Italian singer-songwriter an impressive career. ‘Written in Scars’ (2014) and ‘Sleep No More’ (2016) confirmed his growing popularity with gold-selling status and these were superseded by No 1 albums ‘Singing To Strangers’ (2019) and ‘Europiana’ (2021) which spawned ‘Europiana Encore’, a special extended edition released this year. A number of his songs have featured in TV and film such as ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘One Tree Hill’. Jack Savoretti last appeared as part of Forest Live in 2019.

Jack has announced Natalie Imbruglia as the very special guest for his 2023 Forest Live concert dates presented by Forestry England. This month, Natalie Imbruglia celebrated the 25th anniversary of her acclaimed debut album ‘Left Of The Middle’ featuring the worldwide smash hit ‘Torn’, a song that touched so many people and continues to resonate as a top-streamed single from the nineties. Natalie has released 5 more studio albums including 2021’s ‘Firebird’, and enjoyed chart success with top 10 hits such as ‘Big Mistake’, ‘Smoke’, ‘Wrong Impression’ and ‘Shiver’.

 

Commenting on the booking, Jack Savoretti said, “I am delighted that my dear friend Natalie will be joining me to perform her hits as part of Forest Live. It’s surely going to prove an amazing evening in these beautiful woodland surroundings. We hope to see you there.”

  Twelve Angry Men The Lowry, Salford Review by Natalie Anglesey   Following previous record-breaking West End seasons, and a critically acclaimed tour in 2023, Bill Kenwright Ltd’s powerful production of  Twelve Angry Men  is at  The Lowry  this week until   2 nd  March 2024. Ever since the powerful fifties film starring Henry Fonda, which was nominated three times for Academy Awards, and since then, several stage productions over the years, this splendid court-room drama has never failed to impress me. Now there’s the chance for you to see Reginald Rose’s knife-edge courtroom drama at The Lowry all this week. The cast is now headed by  Jason Merrells  ( Casualty, Emmerdale )  taking over the role of Juror 8 from Patrick Duffy for the 2024 tour. He subtly holds  the whole production together.
