Linda Nolan

Image
I was so saddened to hear on the news today of the death of Linda Nolan. In my time at the BBC I've had the pleasure of interviewing most of those amazing sisters who accepted their all too short lives with the greatest of dignity. Linda insisted on taking me out for lunch prior to my departure and insisted on paying as she wanted to say thankyou for all the support and publicity I had given the family over the years. I was so touched - as I am today - as those talented girls gave we members of the public so much joy and entertainment over the years. Our thoughts are with their families as they will be sadly missed.

Xmas success!
